The former Fresh Air by EcoQuest air purifier has been renamed the Vollara Fresh Air Surround, or more properly spelled FreshAir Surround. It’s really just one word. Since Vollara has taken over the old EcoQuest International, they have renamed most of their products and this air purifier, the top of the line seller from the company, also has a new name.

They work on the principle of cleaning the air where it is at in your house rather than filtering it through the machine as many air filters do.
The way these machines do this is to use ionization and ozone to pull dust and particles out of the air and the ozone will get rid of all kinds of odors and kill germs. These air purifiers have since been renamed the FreshAir Surround for the Fresh Air by EcoQuest and the Living Air Classic has been renamed the ClassicAir since Vollara is the companies new name.
The names of all the supplements the company sells have been renamed as well since the supplement division has changed it’s name from Infinity Nutritionals to Heartland Select to Vollara. Vollara has just incorporated all its businesses under one name.
The first name of the air purifier company was Alpine Industries and it lasted from the 1980’s until it was renamed EcoQuest International some time around 2000 when mlm guru Mike Jackson took the helm. The company and this particular brand of air cleaning technology was created by a man named Bill Converse in Michigan back in the 80’s. Mr converse has not been a part of the company since around 2005.
EcoQuest did run into some serious financial difficulties and that may be why the new company of Vollara was started. Hopefully the financial troubles are behind the company and they can concentrate on what they do best and that is to sell air purifiers and offer a home business opportunity to anyone willing to work.

While these Fresh Air purifiers used to sell for over $400 on a regular basis, now regularly fetch under $300 and some go for under $200. I was able to find one unit sold in the last month that went for over $400, but that is only a single unit when many of these purifiers have sold form $450 or more on eBay in the past.
One warning about buying an air purifier from EcoQuest on eBay though, if you do purchase one on eBay, it will probably not be covered by their 3 year warranty because dealers are not authorized to sell them through this venue.
But you have to make th echoice for yourself as to whether you want to pay $749 for one of these filtration and purification systems and get a warranty or if you want to save maybe $300 or $400 and forgo the warranty.
